I grew up with a small black-and-white television and in a world of black-and-white film. I don’t divide the world into black and white — but I do prefer to photograph it that way.
If you ever see a small woman walking alone at night with a tripod and a massive camera, chasing shadows, light and long exposures — that might be me.
